Julie Moore discusses her career as a freelance ELT specialist.

We welcome Julia Moore to give the next GoldLingS seminar:

"My name's Julie Moore, and I'm lucky enough to make a living from playing with language. Having started off doing a slightly unplanned degree in applied linguistics, I've spent the past 25 years carving out a career that's involved teaching English in several different countries, teacher training everywhere from Riyadh to Moscow, compiling learner's dictionaries, writing classroom materials and carrying out corpus research. I'll be talking about the different strands of my work, what they involve and how you might go about pursuing a career that uses language and linguistics."

GoldLingS seminars are open to all staff and students. Refreshments will be provided after the talk.
