What might it be to translate a social problem into a media beyond text, such as a photograph or a video, or even a performance?

Come and experience how we teach our experimental approach to visual sociology in this 'taster' workshop.

MA Visual Sociology students come from all kinds of backgrounds in fine art, design, social science, communications and beyond. Meet them and see their work!

On Saturday 6th April, in conjunction with the MA Visual Sociology exhibition 'Residual Matters', you are invited to join faculty who will run a free two hour 'taster' session. This is aimed at those currently holding a place on the course, or those who are considering applying, or those curious about an MA which is focused on exploring the social world through visual and sensory approaches.
