Course description
We provide three different levels for advanced Mandarin Chinese classes
- Advanced 1 focuses on cultural topics, social behaviours, values, and communication styles. You will learn to express complex ideas with nuance and understand native-level interactions more comfortably.
- Advanced 2 develops your ability to communicate in academic and professional contexts. You will work with longer texts, express structured viewpoints, and improve high-level comprehension.
Advanced 3 is the highest level in the programme. It focuses on mastering near-native fluency, discussing complex global topics, and expressing deep, analytical viewpoints.
By the end you will be able to:
- Confidently discuss cultural and social issues
- Express ideas with nuance, clarity, and detail
- Follow conversations between native speakers
- Respond naturally in real-life communication

Required language level
If you are new to our Mandarin courses, you will need to have your level assessed before the class starts.
