These links will give you the chance to meet people working in your field, take part in work placements and benefit from industry events and networking opportunities.

Plus, much of our course content is developed with industry in mind, so that the things you’re learning are relevant to the kinds of jobs you’ll go in to in the future.

Placements

Work placements can provide you with a huge number of benefits. Not only do they help you develop skills and experience of the working environment, but they’re also great for increasing confidence and helping you build a network of useful contacts for after you graduate.

Many of our degrees offer the opportunity to do placements. If your degree isn’t one of them then you can also access placements through the Careers Service.

Many of our graduates set up their own business after graduating, and the Careers Service can support you in doing this.
