Brockley is home to the award-winning Brockley Market. Located on Lewisham Way and open every Saturday, it's a brilliant place to pick up fresh produce supplied by local farmers and traders, and to enjoy some street food.

The area is full of indepedent shops and cafes as well as the Brockley Jack Theatre and the beautiful Rivoli Ballroom, which is London's only intact 1950s ballroom, which still hosts regular dance and music events. The Rivoli has also appeared in many music videos, from S Club 7 and Elton John to Oasis, and in TV and film, including Killing Eve and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

I personally liked to take walks through the Brockley/Ladywell Cemetery and the park just up the street from it because they are both beautiful places to spend time outdoors and decompress.
