Jinal's research focuses on Health Law, the Law of Obligations, Law & Emotions, & Legal History
Jinal is an AHRC International Fellow and Lecturer in Law at Goldsmiths, University of London where she teaches a range of modules including Land Law and the Law of Tort. She currently co-convenes the undergraduate taught programmes in Law.
Jinal researches themes in Health Law, the Law of Obligations, Law & Emotions, and Legal History - areas in which she has published. She is currently working on a funded project on Heartbreak and the Law.
Jinal holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, a graduate degree in law from the University of Oxford, and an undergraduate degree from the National Law School in Bangalore, India. Before becoming a legal academic, she was an attorney in Big Law as part of a regulatory affairs and public policy practice.
