PPE Degree

Article

In close association to PERC, Goldsmiths has established a new degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE), also based in Politics.

This takes a well-known combination of disciplines (made famous by the Oxford PPE degree) and updates them for the 21st century. In contrast to narrowly defined, orthodox disciplinary approaches to political and economic studies, the Goldsmiths PPE degree is interdisciplinary, critical and aimed at interrogating the institutions, politics, culture and ideology of contemporary capitalism.

Our PPE degree is taught across multiple departments of Goldsmiths, including Anthropology, Sociology and Centre for Cultural Studies, with Philosophy taught in association with the Centre for Philosophy and Critical Thought.

All details of the PPE degree are available here: Politics, Philosophy & Economics or read more about the thinking behind the degree by the degree convenor, Will Davies, here.
