We provide workshops, classes and performances at schools, for businesses or for the local community.

Workshops

We will provide 45-minute workshops. Ideally, less than 20 participants will attend each session. We will provide most of the workshop material.

We offer:

  • Chinese music (Chinese instrument display and interaction)
  • Chinese singing (Folk singing or pop singing)
  • Chinese tea ceremony
  • Chinese blow-painting
  • Chinese knots
  • Chinese mask making
  • Chinese calligraphy
  • Chinese paper-cutting
  • Chinese dance (Chinese classical dance and Chinese folk dance)
  • Chinese martial arts 
  • Mandarin workshops

Performances

Performances will be provided by our artistic group staff who have years of experience specialising in their related fields and onstage performance.

The programme list, depending on the length and request, will usually include Chinese martial arts, Chinese dance (classical and folk dance), Chinese instruments (such as Erhu, Guzheng), Chinese singing (mainly folk singing), Chinese contemporary drama, and Lion/Dragon dance.

We offer:

  • 10 minutes (2 – 3 programmes)
  • 20 minutes (4 – 6 programmes)
  • 30 minutes (7 – 10 programmes)
  • 40 minutes (10 – 12 programmes)

Terms and requirements

Each workshop session will require a minimum of 10 to 15-minute break in between.

For the performance, dressing room, photos of the performance venue, and equipment specifications (mainly the sound and lighting) will be required. The performance environment, whether it is a stage performance or banquet style, needs to be agreed in advance.

Our travel and meals need to be covered by the school/organisation.

For nursery/primary/secondary school booking, please be advised that most of our staff are from China and usually do not possess a DBS check.
