Bence`s research focuses on decision-making in human-AI interactions, meta-science and improving research practices
Bence has been a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology since October 2023. His research focuses on understanding and improving interactions between people and AI systems to enhance judgments, decisions, and real-life outcomes. He is deeply invested in meta-science, aiming to improve the transparency and credibility of research through the implementation of Open Science practices. As part of the international collaboration ResearchCheck, he is developing and validating LLM-based tools to help researchers improve the quality of their preregistrations and promote more rigorous scientific practices. Bence is also interested in alternative methods of statistical inference, such as the Bayes factor, to advance current statistical practices.
