International Early Bird Discount (September 2026 intake)

To recognise and reward the commitment of paying early, we have an award available to international students joining Goldsmiths in September 2026, for an eligible full-time, Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught programme.

Students paying the minimum deposit amount of £4,000 by 15 May 2026 will receive a 10% tuition fee reduction

Fee reduction example:

MSc Psychology (Conversion) tuition fee: £20,160 

Deposit of £4,000 paid before 15 May 2026: 10% discount 

Final tuition fee at enrolment: £18,144

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to receive the Early Payment Discount for September 2026 entry, applicants must: 

  • Have an unconditional offer of a place on a full-time International Foundation, Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught Programme commencing at Goldsmiths, University of London in September 2026.  MRes, PGCE, PG Diploma and PG Certificate programmes are not included. 
  • Be a self-funded student (if you have a loan you are eligible, but externally sponsored students are not eligible) with overseas fee status.
  • Pay the CAS deposit for the 2026/27 academic year in full to the University by 15 May 2026. Please note that payment must reach the University before midnight on the deadline to be eligible. Payment processing times may vary, and it's important that you take this into consideration to meet the deadline.
  • Students enrolling onto a programme of study with a duration of two or more years will only be eligible to receive the Early Payment Discount during their first year of enrolment at the University.

How to apply

If you meet the Eligibility Criteria, you will be awarded the Early Payment Awards automatically. You do not need to make a separate application. 

The award shall be made as a tuition fee discount. No payment shall be made direct to the student.

Restrictions with other scholarships 

This scholarship will not be awarded if you already hold a scholarship covering full tuition fees, whether awarded by Goldsmiths or an external organisation. Governmental or educational loans will not affect eligibility.
