Asif Aziz is a property entrepreneur and philanthropist, who was made an honorary fellow of Goldsmiths in 2022.
He is the founder and CEO of Criterion Capital, which manages a property portfolio that includes some of the most iconic buildings in London’s West End.
He is also the Chair and founder of the Aziz Foundation, a UK-based family foundation, which runs the country’s biggest postgraduate scholarship programme for British Muslims, and awards grants for good causes.
Aziz takes a leading role in the running and strategic direction of the Foundation. More generally, his interests include combatting Islamophobia, education, supporting refugees and international poverty relief.
In 2022, Asif Aziz was made an honorary fellow of Goldsmiths.
