As in Preston near Blackburn and Wigan?!...” I may have been naïve, perhaps captivated by the exoticism of un-trodden ground, mostly facing some sort of solitary and focusing endeavour… It was great. I am certain that the time spent in the Northern English periphery was fundamental to my future development.

I then needed a large city, and London was the obvious choice. Goldsmiths immediately fascinated me for its vibrant activity and its position as a hub."
