A welcoming and supportive environment

My favourite part of the MA Social Justice in Education was gaining a wealth of experience during the seminars. Being in a very small cohort meant that there was less inhibition to discuss prominent and pertinent topics.

Retuning back to university was seamless as the staff were very welcoming and supportive, especially Dr Chris Millora who is the Head of Programme and my supervisor Faris Sanhaji.

The main impact on me as a person while studying at Goldsmiths was the realisation that I could play a significant part in changing mindsets on how society comes to understand and view social justice in different spectrums.

Life after Goldsmiths

I am a qualified teacher and have always enjoyed educating primary school children.

I continue to see my future in education spaces, where I can continue to use the knowledge have gained during my MA to substantially change how global majorities (both staff and student) are received within education settings.

Advice for future students

I would advise someone coming to study at Goldsmiths to take full advantage of the seminars by confidently contributing during discussion and supporting their growth through diligently reading suggested articles.
