Supportive staff

A diverse cohort

There was a mix of ages and backgrounds on the course that I found encouraging and it felt like a supportive environment. I also really enjoyed the wider cultural life on campus and meeting international students.

Life after Goldsmiths

I am a published non-fiction author and a television producer, developing and making documentaries.

Doing the course helped me to work on story and writing as part of my TV career and I enjoy both working in teams and that my work is seen by a wide audience.

I am in discussion with an agent about writing another book.

Advice for future students

Fully engage in the cultural life of the university and of London. It can be expensive but the friendships that I made at Goldsmiths remain in my mind many years later.

Studying in New Cross

I enjoyed living in New Cross and exploring Greenwich and Peckham, parts of London that I didn't know.
