Lionel Foster

Lionel Foster is Communications Manager for the Urban Institute’s Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Centre in the US.

Before joining Urban, he was an opinion columnist with The Baltimore Sun. His writing has also appeared in Baltimore City Paper, The Chicago Tribune, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Grist, The Los Angeles Times, and Urbanite.

He completed his MA at Goldsmiths during his tenure as a British Marshall Scholar. For his work in urban communities he was named a Maryland Daily Record VIP.
