An invaluable experience

The MA in Creative & Life Writing taught me how to trust my creative instincts, as well as how to apply just the right amount of criticism.

It gave me the time, space, encouragement, and technical skills to turn a disparate collection of stories into a novel. Being in a workshop where there was so much mutual respect was invaluable.

Life after Goldsmiths

I work in marketing, but I continue to write on the side. My novel, Ghost Chilli, was published in 2024 and I hope to continue publishing more.

Advice for future students

I would say attend every event you can, take advantage of the library and Goldsmiths CCA, and just be really present and engaged with what's going on in your surroundings.

An international environment

Being an international student at Goldsmiths was great because I met so many other students from other parts of the world, as well as Londoners/people from the UK. It was a great microcosm of the city.

Studying in New Cross

It's just such a cool area. I love the Deptford Cinema, Iyengar Yoga Centre, the library, the CCA, and Mughead Coffee.
