Natalie Young was born in London in 1976. She studied English at Bristol University and published her first novel, We All Ran Into the Sunlight, in 2011 while working as the Arts and Books Editor of Prospect magazine.
Her novel Season to Taste or How to Eat Your Husband, inspired by a visit to a Louise Bourgeois exhibition and Tales of the Unexpected by Roald Dahl, was published to critical acclaim in the UK and US in 2014, and has now sold into eight foreign territories.
She is now writing the screenplay while also working on her third novel for her PhD. She lives in Peckham.
