"My year at Goldsmiths was possibly the most formative and intellectually stimulating academic experience I have had so far.

What I particularly liked about the MA in Media and Communications was that its structure enabled students to touch upon a wide variety of fascinating and current fields of research, while simultaneously encouraging them from the start to find their own area of expertise.

The teaching professors all displayed an enormous competence and passion for their subjects and consistently offered valuable help and guidance with regard to assignments and the final dissertation. The incredibly diverse backgrounds of my fellow students, both personally and academically, were another asset: it allowed us to tackle theoretical issues from a multitude of insightful perspectives during our group discussions.

Overall, Goldsmiths has sparked my interest in the affective components of (social) media practices and reinforced my ambition to pursue an academic career."
