Goldsmiths appealed to me for their range of interdisciplinary programmes which offer students a sense of liberty and customisation. Although my degree in Critical and Creative Analysis was part of the Sociology Department, I have taken various courses in multiple areas of media rituals, public culture and gender which perfectly complimented my core course of cultural theories.

Towards the end of the programme, I had the opportunity to work in the Vietnamese journalism industry, and I found that what I had learnt at Goldsmiths has enabled me to develop critical and creative reflections on the media, culture and society in my home country.
