As a graduate, you will receive a copy of your final transcript and degree certificate (issued separately) by post. If you require additional or replacement copies in the future, you can do so at a cost. Alternatively, employers can request verification of your award via HEDD.
Recent graduates and final year students
If you recently graduated, you can access your results and award online via My Goldsmiths. Results for undergraduates finishing in summer 2017 will be online from 1 July 2017.
If you do not attend the graduation ceremonies then your results will be posted to your home address on My Goldsmiths - please ensure this is correct. For summer 2017 undergraduates this will be by 1 August 2017. For postgradutes this will be by 1 November 2017.
The confirmation of award letter and HEAR/transcript are formal documents and should be retained as proof of award and breakdown of marks achieved. Degree certificates are issued by the University of London and will be sent to you approximately three to four months after the award letter is sent out.

Replacement transcripts and confirmation of award
After leaving Goldsmiths you may need replacement transcripts or confirmation of your award. Records & Enrolments can prepare the following documents for you at a small cost.
Transcripts of results
Includes proof of final result and an official summary of the marks achieved per module.

Replacement degree certificates from University of London
Certificates are issued by the University of London, not Goldsmiths.
If you require a replacement certificate, please contact the University of London Diploma Production Department with details of your request via firstname.lastname@example.org or +44 (0)20 7862 8303.
Please ensure you provide your full name, date of birth, full title of programme, institution of study (as part of the University of London) and awarding year, indicating if the certificate was lost or destroyed.
Third-party enquirers, employers and agencies
For all third-party enquiries, please contact Higher Education Degree Datacheck (HEDD) who provide an online verification service to verify Goldsmiths, University of London awards and student status.
The online verification service allows registered enquirers to verify data provided by applicants, e.g. name, date of birth, institution, year of award, qualification, classification, etc.
The system has been developed by Graduate Prospects, in consultation with universities, employers and screening agencies. Funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and launched by Graduate Prospects, HEDD is now being rolled out to institutions across the UK HE sector.
Please note this service is only for registered third-parties. Alumni and current students who require printed confirmation of their award or studies should get in touch with email@example.com.
How to make an enquiry
Before making an enquiry you will need to register with HEDD. To make an enquiry, select 'Goldsmiths' from the list of UK higher education institutions and choose the option to 'Verify...'. Enter the individual's name, date of birth, course and qualification, and provide written consent from the student. For graduates you will also need to enter their year of award and degree result. If you require dates of attendance, please request these at the time of making the enquiry.
We recommend that you ask graduates to show their degree certificate and use that as the basis of your verification enquiry, otherwise ask individuals to provide you their data as they believe it's recorded on the Student Records System. The enquiry will be made available to the Records & Enrolments team at Goldsmiths for manual verification, with a five working day turnaround time.
