Selection process
Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis.
Applications will first be reviewed by the relevant Head of Subject to confirm eligibility.
Eligible applications will then be considered by a Subject Scholarship Panel consisting of the Head of Subject and Programme Directors.
The panel recognises that applicants bring a wide range of experiences, achievements and forms of potential. Equal consideration will therefore be given to academic performance, professional experience, personal circumstances and the quality of the application statement.
Notification of outcome
Successful applicants will be notified by email and will normally be required to accept or decline the award within 10 days of receiving the offer.
Reserve candidates may be contacted if an awarded scholarship is declined or not accepted within the specified timeframe.
No feedback will be offered on unsuccessful applications. Decisions of the panel are final and not subject to appeal.
Part-time students
Students studying part-time will receive the fee waiver on a pro-rata basis across the duration of their programme.
