Becky completed her MA in Arts Administration & Cultural Policy in 2015, and is currently working for The Complete Works as a creative learning tutor in secondary schools in East London. Of her experience at Goldsmiths, she says “I knew before arriving in London that Goldsmiths was the right choice for me. It certainly was – it has opened up new pathways and the experience of the MA challenged my artistic practice”.

Before arriving in London, Becky had gained experience in community development work in the not-for-profit sector, working in administrative roles for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland and supporting the work of a youth charity, Project Scotland. During her MA degree, she was the recipient of a Goldsmiths Annual Fund award to support her chosen work placement in Melbourne, Australia, with the Cultural Development Network where she gained a rich cross-cultural experience and opportunity to assist in the research of a Cultural Development Planning textbook (forthcoming).

Today, Becky is pursuing her practice as a musician in South East London and is interested in the cultural sustainability of local communities through artistic engagement. In November 2015, she was appointed Editor of Bookshelf Boyfriend, a cultural how-to website platform for young women.
