Ellie graduated from the MA in Arts Adminstration and Cultural Policy course at Goldsmiths in 2005.  The course enabled her to gain excellent all round knowledge in the arts and culture sector and helped her to secure employment as Adminstrater of the decibel programme at Arts Council England. The course also inspired a passion for using the arts to support disadvantaged young people and a position as General Manager for Pan Intercultural enabled Ellie to gain valuable experience in this field as well as knowledge and practical experience in all areas of arts management.

A stint in national education and youth charities, Dyslexia Action and The Prince’s Trust enabled Ellie to expand her knowledge in managing large scale programmes for young people as well as specific talents in fundraising and partnership building.

In 2012 Ellie returned to the arts and culture sector to undertake her current position as Community Partnerships Manager with The Mighty Creatives as part of their Arts Council England funded Bridge programme,  responsible for developing arts and culture for children and young people across the East Midlands.  Here Ellie leads on locality commissioning,  building locally based arts and culture partnerships as well as information and research to inform best practice development in the sector.  Ellie feels that her time at Goldsmiths allowed her to gain invaluable experience and knowledge of the arts and culture sector which continues to inform her day to day working practices.
