For each of our modules, we have projects that are very creative and original, and we have a lot of guest speakers.

I think what’s really unique about Goldsmiths is its creativity, its open-mindedness.

Transferable skills

A friend of mine did business at another London uni, and it just seemed very academic. Not that that’s a bad thing. But that just wouldn’t have worked for me. Just learning from a book and memorising the book and then rewriting it – that’s just not what I wanted.

I wanted a university experience that was actually going to be applicable to my future and that would give me transferable skills, and I think Goldsmiths has done a good job of that.

Creatively taught

It’s very interdisciplinary – you end up studying business, but also more on the side. It really encompasses lots of different subjects. I think it’s good that we’re taught in this way because, in terms of careers, it means your options are very open.

Also for each of our modules, we have projects that are very creative and original, and we have a lot of guest speakers – entrepreneurs and people who work in startups or big corporations.

Friendly professors

You feel connected to the professors and what you’re studying because the group is quite small. All the professors are very friendly. They always encourage you to contact them if you have any questions. They’re very available.
