I was inspired by the fact that despite being brilliant in their fields, my professors were exceptionally down-to-earth, friendly, patient, interesting and especially interested in you as a student. A year in such a cosmopolitan, fast-paced environment reinforced my commitment to the relentless pursuit of excellence. Now back in Uganda, in April 2012 I was appointed the editor of The Observer, a tri-weekly quality newspaper in the capital Kampala."
