"My lecturers were inspiring and supportive"
Main details
As dance movement therapist I work with children and adults in order to help them improve their physical and emotional health and to improve their social skills and wellbeing in general.
I also prepare and lead lectures and workshops about qualitative research methods, dance and movement therapy and art therapies to other health care specialists. Part of my work is to be research supervisor and write scientific articles.
My time at Goldsmiths helped me to develop crucial professional skills which where essential as I started my career. I gained very valuable and specific knowledge in dance movement therapy, which helped me not only in my work with clients, but also was interesting to my colleagues at University and helped me to start an academic career. I would like to say a special thank you my lecturers as they were inspiring and supportive.
