Accommodation Discount

Primary page content

If you accept an offer of accommodation between 13 August and 4 September 2026, you may be eligible for a £1,000 accommodation discount.

This discount will guarantee you an offer of a place in our accommodation and contribute towards your accommodation fees.

2026

Eligibility criteria

To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Study full-time at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2026-27
  • Must not have already accepted an offer for accommodation at Goldsmiths and/or another scholarship for the year
  • Apply for Goldsmiths accommodation between 13 August and 4 September 2026

Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority being given to students attending Goldsmiths for the first time.

The offer cannot be applied retrospectively; however students who have received an accommodation offer which is still “awaiting response” as of 13 August 2026 will also be considered for the discount.

How to apply

You must firmly accept your academic offer before applying for accommodation.

Step 1: Apply for accommodation between 13 August and 4 September 2026

If you're successful, we’ll offer you a place in accommodation in a single occupancy en suite room in Loring Hall, Raymont Hall or Chesterman House. Offers are made in line with Goldsmiths’ accommodation terms and subject to availability at the time.

Step 2: Accept your room offer by the deadline

Pay your £150 pre-payment or £200 deposit to secure your place.

If you miss the deadline in your offer email, your offer will be withdrawn. You will be able to reapply for accommodation, but you won’t be considered for the discount.

Step 3: Discount confirmation

If you’ve met all the steps and are eligible, we will confirm your £1,000 discount via email.

The discount will be applied in February 2027 as a credit of £1,000 to your accommodation account, reducing the cost of rent for the final rent instalment.  The discount will not be paid as a cash sum, and you will need to remain in our accommodation for the duration of the contract.
