What's it like to live in our halls of residence?
Chapter Lewisham is a short bus ride from campus, in vibrant Lewisham. A mixture of undergraduate and postgraduate students from different universities live here, including Goldsmiths students.
Chesterman House is part of the Goldsmiths Student Village, is a short walk from our campus in New Cross, and mostly houses postgraduate students. This is purpose-built residence was recently refurbished, and comprises 12 self-contained flats spread across two buildings.
A short walk from campus in New Cross, Dean House is for undergraduate students. This is a purpose-built residence made up of 19 self contained flats spread over two buildings.
Ewen Henderson Court was built in 2005 and is located a short walk from campus in New Cross. This hall is for undergraduate and postgraduate students spread across three blocks.
Based on campus in New Cross, Loring Hall is for undergraduate students. This is a purpose-built residence made up of 55 self contained flats spread over seven blocks.
Quantum Court is based in Shadwell, a 20-minute commute from our campus. Goldsmiths undergraduate and postgraduate students live here. This is a purpose-built residence made up of 40 flats and 18 self-contained studios.
Raymont Hall is in Brockley, South East London, and is part of the Goldsmiths Student Village. Recently refurbished, this hall is a 20-minute walk from campus, and houses a mixture of undergraduate and postgraduate students. This residence is split across four buildings, three of which offer self-contained flats. For 2019/20 Raymont Hall houses Goldsmiths students, and a small number of students from other institutions.
Surrey House is part of the Goldsmiths Student Village and is on the same site as Surrey House Annexe. This residence is made of four buildings. The main building houses students in a corridor layout over four floors and each bedroom includes a sink. The annexe, house and link building have students over three floors, with a range of different en suite rooms in self contained flats and studios.
Recently refurbished, this hall is a 5 minute walk from campus. Undergraduate students live here.
Formerly the town hall of the London Borough of Southwark, this hall is part new build, part conversion, and includes original heritage features. Undergraduate and postgraduate students live here.
