Lewisham and London Fee Waiver

We offer partial fee waivers for undergraduate students, resident in Lewisham and other London boroughs.

For example, it could cover tuition fees for students ineligible for tuition fee loans for part of their programme.

Eligibility criteria

You must meet the general eligibility criteria and regulations. You must also:

• Be eligible for Home fees
• Be holding an offer of study on an undergraduate degree for Goldsmiths 2026-27 academic year
• Be resident in a London borough
• Be enrolling on your first undergraduate degree
• Be taught in person

The following applicants will be prioritised:

• Applicants who are not eligible for a tuition fee loan to cover all years of their programme, please upload a copy of the notification from Student Finance England to demonstrate that this applies to you
• Applicants with a household income of under £40,000 per year (as evidenced by your application to the Student Loans Company)

Some fee waivers will be reserved for residents of the London Borough of Lewisham.

Current students are not eligible to apply. Any application made by a current student will be withdrawn.

Application deadlines

Applications will open from 17 June 2026 and will close on 17 August 2026 at midnight.

Selection process

Successful applicants will be selected on a competitive basis.

Initial shortlisting by eligibility criteria will be completed by our Scholarships Co-ordinator. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will then be considered by an awarding panel.

Final award recipients and reserve candidates will be decided by the panel.
