"I began studying for an MA at Goldsmiths three years ago. The course explores the relationship between artist and teacher and this, along with the opportunity to communicate with colleagues, and the personalised approach (which the brilliant instructors work hard to create) kept me interested.

The course opened my eyes to valuable discussion, theory and praxis that I might otherwise never have come across. I felt challenged in that I was encouraged to question my current practice as an artist, teacher, researcher and person.

I knew I needed to rise to the occasion and what I ended up with was a renewed sense of purpose and direction in my everyday teaching and life. I can't say that it was easy to juggle a part time MA and a full time teaching schedule, nor was it easy to question my practice both as a teacher and an artist, but I can honestly say it was very much worth it."
