What you'll study

You will study the following compulsory modules:

  • AI Engine (30 credits)
  • Machine Learning (30 credits)
  • AI Brain (30 credits)
  • Solving Problems with AI (30 credits)
  • Final Project (60 credits)

Teaching and Assessment

Teaching will be via a range of formats to be as relevant as possible to the topic and learning outcomes.

This may include workshops, practical labs, lectures and seminars. You will complete a mix of in-person and online activities, designed to give you the best learning experience and to make the most out of your time on campus.

Entry requirements

You should have (or expect to be awarded) either:

  • A BSc Degree at level 2:1 in a science, technology, engineering, mathematical or other relevant quantitative subject 
  • A BSc Degree at level 2:2 in a quantitative subject and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience

Non-standard entry criteria

If you do not have a quantitative background, we may accept applications from other disciplines, following the successful completion of a free primer that builds your skills in coding and maths. For these applications, we would expect you to have achieve either of  the following:

  • A BA or BSc Degree at level 2:1 or 2:2 with at least 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • No degree, but 5+ years of relevant work experience

If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.5 overall and no element lower than 6.0 to study this programme.
