Overview of Partnership 

Goldsmiths, University of London, and Algebra Bernays University have established a visionary partnership to deliver dual awards in Computing, Design, and Digital Marketing via a validation partnership. This collaboration represents the first UK–Croatian higher education partnership of its kind, combining Goldsmiths’ unique teaching approach with Algebra Bernays’ forward-thinking, industry-driven curriculum. 

Through this validation partnership, Goldsmiths ensures the academic excellence of Algebra Bernays’ programmes while supporting a curriculum that blends innovation, research, and real-world experience. Students benefit from the best of both worlds: the creative and critical approach that defines Goldsmiths, combined with Algebra Bernays’ strong employability focus and vibrant industry links. 

Together, the institutions offer a range of validated undergraduate programmes in BSc Applied Computer Engineering (Software Engineering), BA Visual Communications Design (3D Design), and BSc Digital Marketing, will further expand opportunities for students to gain future-focused skills and global recognition. 

Graduates of these dual awards earn two degrees: a UK degree validated by Goldsmiths and a Croatian degree awarded by Algebra Bernays University. More than a qualification, this represents a bridge between cultures, ideas, and industries that empower students to become creative thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators ready to make an impact on a global stage. 

Petra’s Testimony  

We are proud to celebrate the first generation of graduates earning a dual degree through our partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London. 

Our student Petra Oniško received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications Design, 3D Design (bacc. art.). The graduation ceremony took place at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London, opposite Westminster Abbey, accompanied by her parents who joined her on this special day. 

Petra highlighted: “The most valuable aspect for me is studying in English, as it significantly improves language skills and provides a strong advantage when pursuing career opportunities with international companies.”
