The Communication University of China (CUCN) , founded in 2004 and officially transformed into an independent undergraduate‑oriented institution in 2020, it is the only application‑oriented university specialising in media and arts in Jiangsu Province.  in media and arts in Jiangsu Province.  

Located in the university town of Jiangning District, Nanjing, the campus holds more than 50 undergraduate majors across 12 schools. The university emphasises a media‑convergence, all‑media, application‑oriented and international education model and is well‑equipped with modern facilities such as digital studios, 3D animation workstations, live‑streaming platforms and more.  With its unique approach to teaching, CUCN prepares its graduates for the fast‑moving, creative roles in the digital media industries.  

Overview of Partnership 

Goldsmiths, University of London and CUCN have established a 2+2 articulation partnership designed to provide students with a clear progression from undergraduate study in China to a UK honours degree. 

Under this model, students begin with two years of study at CUCN in Digital Media Communication or Digital Creative Technology. They then progress into the final two years at Goldsmiths, completing either the BA Media and Communication or the BSc Creative Computing / BSc Digital Arts Computing (depending on the pathway). 

This collaboration brings together CUCN’s strengths in media and digital arts education with Goldsmiths’ global reputation in creative and technical media disciplines. Graduates benefit from a strong international education pathway, combining deep regional expertise with UK‑based honours certification.
