Gloria Guan

Goldsmiths is a warm, supportive and inclusive community. I have developed many authentic friendships and a better version of myself. During this Master's journey, whilst taking part in respectful debates, critical thoughts, challenges and new ideas, I have learnt from professors, tutors and peers alike. It has given me a solid foundation and opened up new possibilities for my future career in the art world.

I have been working for a commercial contemporary art gallery since I completed my Master studies. Meanwhile, I also work as an independent art critic. The Goldsmiths Masters degree has guided me in the right direction, and even though what I will do eventually is still uncertain, I now have the confidence and ability I need to build my career.

In 2017 I became Operations Director of Star Center for Contemporary Art which located in Beijing China.
