After completing my MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy at Goldsmiths, I felt that I finally had the tools to pursue my dream career: one that would mix my artistic background with my desire/need to have a stable job. Right after I finished my MA, I started working as a Companies’ Production Manager for Festival Deltebre Dansa, which is the festival that I used as the main case study for my dissertation about participatory contemporary dance.

Apart from that, I am currently doing an Erasmus+ traineeship at Melting Pro in Rome, where I’m getting to know loads about Audience Development, a super exciting method that is applied by arts organisations to develop new audiences and have a stronger and closer relationship with their current ones.

But life is not all about jobs; these exciting professional experiences have also inspired me to push my artistry and creativity further, as I’m getting to see how important culture can be for anyone’s life: I’ve never danced, played music or painted as much as I do now. It does me good; and I hope that someday we all get to understand that arts & culture need to be accessible to everyone, because we all need things that do us good.
