Online payments: Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility to settle your tuition and/or accommodation fee. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms, if you do not accept these terms please do not continue to use this facility.

1. Paying for tuition and accommodation fee

You are required to settle your tuition and accommodation fee by via a secure payment facility where you may be required to enter your card payment details.

If the payment is successful, you will receive a payment confirmation email from Goldsmiths and your student account balance will be credited with the value of your payment.

The payment confirmation email will be sent to the email address input when entering your payment details.

If the card supplier declines payment you will be given the opportunity to edit the card details. You should check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.

Goldsmiths cannot accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.

Neither will Goldsmiths accept liability for the payment not being credited to your student account due to incorrect details supplied by you.

2. Refunds

Email registry (@gold.ac.uk) to request a refund of your unspent tuition fee credits left in your student account or halls-finance (@gold.ac.uk) if the credit relates to accommodation.

In order to comply with anti-money laundering requirements, please be aware that the University will only process any refunds due back to the payment method that was originally used.

3. Information you provide

The information you provide will only be used to process the payment and to communicate with you regarding your purchase.

Goldsmiths will only use the information collected about you under the terms of the Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Notice for Students.

Personal data will only be used for the purposes of fulfilling your payment.  This information will be held on a database by WPM Education (e-commerce system provided www.wpmeducation.com) on behalf of Goldsmiths. Debit/credit card details are collected and verified with the card provider via the WPM system but are not stored. By using the online payment facility, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal details by us.

4. Modification of terms

Goldsmiths reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time. Changes will not affect payments which we have already acknowledged.
