Communications & Social Media Coordinator
Nadia coordinates Communications for the Design department, which includes managing content for the Design web-pages and the Design blog, running the Goldsmiths Design social media accounts and photography/videography for departmental events.
Nadia is a journalism and film graduate; in addition to her work at Goldsmiths, she is a Communications Officer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, and an independent filmmaker and illustrator.
Emma oversees the management of administrative and operational functions within the Department
Programmes and Assessments Assistant
As the Programmes and Assessments Assistant, Jack Donald is responsible for monitoring the department’s emails and telephone, making him the first point of contact for most queries to the Design Department. He is responsible for producing registers and communicating attendance information. Supporting in the administration of assessments and assists in maintaining the Department’s students’ records. He also supports the department’s Workshop, Lab and Studio staff in their meetings.
Assistant Department Manager
Chris supports the Department Manager in all aspects of the administration of the department. He has a particular focus on financial matters, including staff expenses, travel and contracts and can be contacted in relation to any of those subjects.
Chris is the department admissions co-ordinator overseeing the admissions processes and related events and activities such as Open Days. He can be contacted with any queries relating to study in the Design department. Chris supports the undergraduate staff & student forum as Secretary and can help with any queries relating to department student engagement. Chris is also Secretary to the department Research & Enterprise Committee.
