"Before coming to Goldsmiths, I was working in Vietnam as an English teacher. I was happy with my job, but I slowly came to realize I wanted to do more. I want to help people improve their lives in every way, and studying Psychology seems to be the ultimate path. Since going to the UK has always been one of my dreams, I looked up some Psychology courses online. Among the schools that I applied to, Goldsmiths was my first choice, mainly because of the course content. Every module seemed extremely interesting, practical and unique. Also, as an Art/Social sciences school, Goldsmiths attracts creative, bold, accepting, and unique individuals, and promises the university experience of a lifetime. These are the reasons I chose Goldsmiths, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Modules are up to my expectations, and everyone is friendly and supportive.

Though I don't make friends very easily, I already have some close friends here that I very much appreciate. We go to central London every week, and there are always new and exciting things and places to explore in this beautiful city. I've been here for two months, everything has been going quite well, and I'm really excited about the future. I intend to go back to Vietnam when I graduate, and continue to research, write, and conduct public workshops to help improve people's lives. In the meantime, I'm going to embrace this opportunity, and learn as much as I can from teachers, books, and friends, all while enjoying my life in London."
