Our Discover Gold programme is designed to equip students with the tools and knowledge to make confident, informed decisions about their future after compulsory schooling.

The programme is weighted towards higher education, but also covers the benefits of apprenticeships and entry into the workforce in comparison. A standard day contains:
- “Why University? Making choices about your future” talk lead by an Access and Participation lead
- Campus tour, lead by our student ambassadors
- Lunch supplied by Goldsmiths College in our refectory
- An academic taster or study skills session
- A question-and-answer session with our student ambassadors
The timetable is designed to give visiting students as much time as possible to engage with our ambassadors and get an insight into the higher education environment. We recommend bringing no more than 60 students to ensure your cohort gets the best possible experience during the visit.
