Discovery Days are for school years 7-10 and designed to provide an introduction to a university setting and equip young people to make informed decisions about their future.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, we have decided to cancel all of our Discovery Days until at least Easter 2021.
What to expect
The day includes a tour of our campus led by a student ambassador, who will be able to answer questions about student life and the transition between school and university. Attendees will also get involved in a series of workshops that will help them to gain a better understanding of what it means to be a university student academically, socially and financially.
- Students attending must come as part of a school visit accompanied by an appropriate number of school staff.
- We can only offer up to 30 places per school per day.
- Bookings must be made by a staff representative from the school through our enquiry form.
A typical Higher Education Discovery Day runs from 10am – 2.30pm and will include age-appropriate sessions on student life, a campus tour, a Q&A with a current student, and a session with the Students’ Union.
