Students with reasonable adjustments
If you require adjustments to be made for your assessments you must have a RASA from our Disability Service.
The deadline to apply for a RASA for exam reasonable adjustments has now passed. If you think you require adjustments contact the Disability Service straight away.
If you have a RASA, adjustments will be automatically put in place and exam-specific RASA details will be emailed to you. If you don't receive these by 22 November 2019 contact assessments (@gold.ac.uk) without delay.
Students with reasonable adjustments are not required to use the cloakroom. You can leave your coat and bag at the side of the exam room.
Cloakroom for coats, bags and personal items
Bags, coats and personal items (eg keys, mobile phone, smartwatches) are not allowed in exam rooms.
They should be left in the free cloakroom in the Margaret McMillan Building MMB212.
Allow plenty of time before your exam to get to the cloakroom and check your items in.
Students with reasonable adjustments are not required to use the cloakroom. They can leave their coats and bags at the side of the exam room.
What is allowed in the exam room
Only bring what is essential for your exam.
The only items permitted in exam venues are writing materials (pens/pencils, rubbers etc) and water bottles (with labelling removed).
If the exam permits calculators, books or revision notes, these must be confirmed on the exam paper. Calculators which display graphics, text or algebraic equations are not permitted.
Students are not permitted to bring bags, coats and personal items (eg keys, mobile phone, smartwatches) into the exam room. We encourage students to use the cloakroom for all items which are not permitted in exam rooms.
