Replacing a lost visa

What to do if you lose your BRP card.

Primary page content

The UK has now transitioned to the use digital ‘eVisas’ which have replaced Biometric Residence Permits cards (BRPs).

Although BRP cards have now expired, you will still need to make a report to the Home Office if your BRP is lost or stolen.

If you encounter difficulties accessing your eVisa/UKVI account, you can recover your account here.
