Information for prospective partner students

Information for incoming students who are currently enrolled on a dedicated 1+2 or 2+2 UK transfer degree programme.

Undergraduate

Students coming from HELP University, Malaysia will usually enter into Year 2 of the BSc (Hons) Psychology degree. As such, you will be able to see the list of modules you will take at Goldsmiths before you arrive. Module descriptions are available on the programme pages

Entry requirements

Students must normally have achieved a Year 1 average of 60% across all subjects combined.

If you are a national of a non-majority English speaking country you would need to submit an IELTS 6.0 with 6.0 in Writing and with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

Students from Shanghai Theatre Academy that have completed the pathway programme are eligible to apply for Year One entry onto the following programmes:

Entry requirements

Successful completion of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Pathway programme with a minimum score of Grade B or 80%.

If you are a national of a non-majority English speaking country you would need to submit an IELTS 6.0 with 6.0 in Writing and with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

Students coming from South Puget Sound Community College will usually enter into Year 2 of the Undergraduate programme.  As such, you will be able to see the list of modules you will take at Goldsmiths before you arrive.  Module descriptions are available on the programme pages.

Students must normally have achieved a GPA of 3.0 in their Associate of Arts Degree.

If you are a national of the United States of America, by providing evidence of your nationality (your passport), you will not need to take an English Language Qualification.

If you are a national of a non-majority English speaking country you would need to submit an IELTS 6.0 with 6.0 in Writing and with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

Postgraduate

A progression agreement has been signed to allow students who have completed the ISDI Undergraduate Design programme to apply to the following Postgraduate programmes at Goldsmiths:

Entry requirements

Successful completion of the Undergraduate Design Programme from Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) validated by The University of Mumbai with a minimum score of 60%.

If you are a national of a non-majority English speaking country, you would need to submit an IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.5 in Writing) and no element lower than 5.5 or appropriate English Language Qualification.

A progression agreement has been signed to allow students who have completed the ISME Undergraduate Business and Entrepreneurship programme to apply to the following Postgraduate programmes at Goldsmiths:

MSc Consumer Behaviour

MSc Management of Innovation

MSc Marketing and Technology

MSc Occupational Psychology

Entry requirements

Successful completion of the Undergraduate Business Management & Entrepreneurship Programme from Indian School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ISME) validated by The University of Mumbai with a minimum score of 60%.

If you are a national of a non-majority English speaking country, you would need to submit an IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.5 in Writing) and no element lower than 5.5 or appropriate English Language Qualification.

A progression agreement has been signed to allow students who have completed a degree in Critical and Visual Studies from the Pratt Institute, New York, USA are suitable and eligible to apply to the following Postgraduate programmes at Goldsmiths:

Students must normally have achieved a GPA of 3.0 in their Undergraduate Degree.

If you are a national of the United States of America, by providing evidence of your nationality (your passport), you will not need to take an English Language Qualification.

If you are a national of a non-majority English speaking country you would need to submit an IELTS 6.0 with 6.0 in Writing and with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

Students from Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts (SIVA) who have completed three years of the Undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for the Goldsmiths Graduate Diploma in Creative and Cultural Industries. Successful completion will lead to Year One entry onto one of the following programmes:

Entry requirements

Average GPA of 80% at the end of Year 3 of Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 60% in each subject.

Students should have a complete transcript at an appropriate GPA and a stamped letter from SIVA confirming that they have completed all credits required for a student at the end of Year 3.  Students will also have been expected to submit a personal statement as standard.

Students wishing to progress onto one of the MA degrees specified need to have passed all modules of the Graduate Diploma in Creative and Cultural Industries programme with an overall score of 50% or more, and completion of a successful interview.  This is in addition to satisfying any UK visa requirements for subsequent programmes with Goldsmiths.

If you are a national of a non-majority English speaking country, you would need to submit an IELTS 5.5 with no component lower than 5.5 or equivalent.
