Pearl Academy & Goldsmiths Partnership Arrangement

The School of Creative Management at Goldsmiths is collaborating with Pearl Academy to deliver an articulation programme for those interested in exploring study in different contexts internationally.

Once you have successfully completed the first two years of either BBA in Fashion & Lifestyle Business Management or Bachelor in Global Luxury Brand Management at Pearl Academy, you can apply to join Year 3 at Goldsmiths.

Depending on your Pearl Academy programme and academic interests, you can choose to continue into one of the following Goldsmiths degrees for your final year:

What you'll study

Years 1 and 2 (Pearl Academy)

You'll complete two years of either the BBA in Fashion & Lifestyle Business Management or the Bachelor in Global Luxury Brand Management at Pearl Academy.

You'll gain strong grounding in management, marketing, finance, research methods and entrepreneurship, with a focus on the fashion and lifestyle industries.

Teaching style

All three Goldsmiths programmes are taught through scheduled learning — a mixture of lectures, seminars and workshops. You'll also be expected to undertake a significant amount of independent study. This includes carrying out required and additional reading, preparing topics for discussion, and producing essays or project work.

How you'll be assessed

You'll be assessed by a variety of methods, depending on your programme and module choices. These may include coursework, examinations, group work, presentations and projects. The BSc Marketing programme also includes a mandatory Research Dissertation in Year 3.

Whichever Goldsmiths programme you join through this partnership, you will graduate with the skills, knowledge and professional network to enter a wide range of careers in business, marketing and management.

Graduates of the BSc Business Management develop an interdisciplinary, practical understanding of how organisations work, preparing them for roles across business consulting, finance, operations, and entrepreneurship in companies ranging from large multinationals to innovative start-ups.

Graduates of the BSc Marketing go on to work as marketing managers, brand managers, marketing strategists, advertising and promotion managers, market researchers, and PR officers. Drawing on psychology, sociology, and management, the interdisciplinary approach of the programme gives graduates a competitive edge in marketing-related roles and the skills to pursue postgraduate studies in fields such as Marketing, Management, Media and Communications, or Cultural Studies.

Finally, graduates of the BSc Management with Marketing combine management rigour with marketing expertise, making them well-placed for roles in brand management, digital marketing, consumer insight, international business and strategy, as well as leadership positions in a wide variety of organisations.

Entry requirements

To enter Year 3 at Goldsmiths through this partnership, you will need to have successfully completed the first two years at Pearl Academy, attaining 240 credits (120 at Level 4 and 120 at Level 5) with a minimum average of 60% (equivalent to a 2:1, or GPA 3.0) across both years.

Students who have successfully met these requirements do not need to meet additional English language requirements, provided they have achieved 75% in English at Standard 12th grade (taken within 5 years).

Alternatively, an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.0 with a 6.0 in writing and no element lower than 5.5 will also be accepted.

If you do not meet the required IELTS level, you may have the option of completing a pre-sessional English course at Goldsmiths, subject to meeting other entry requirements.

Annual tuition fees
