Chaplaincy activities

The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy has a wide range of events and activities.

Primary page content

Daily online drop-in to the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy

The multi-faith chaplaincy centre is normally open daily for people to come in for free tea, coffee, and a chat. During the Autumn term, we are also offering an online daily ‘drop-in’ between Monday to Friday from 2.30 - 3.30 pm. This will start on 4 October 2021.

Thonline ‘drop-in’ will be a social space; however, you can always arrange a follow up one-to-one pastoral conversation with a Chaplain if you need a listening ear. Do come and join us online to make new friends and foster new relationships.

All are welcome. To join us please use the Teams link.

Welcome Week Activities

Global treats and tea in person for five afternoons

Date: Monday 27 September 2021 - Friday 1 October 2021
Time: 3 – 5 pm Location: Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Centre on Laurie Green

As chaplains, we seek to welcome everyone and offer hospitality where we can. During Welcome week, one of the chaplains will be available in person every day at the multi-faith chaplaincy centre, offering sweet treats and tea from around the Globe. Outdoor seating will be available in the lovely quiet garden area surrounding the MFC chaplaincy building.

Fun Quiz online

Date: Wednesday 29 September 2021 Time: 7 - 8 pm

This will be an informal social event to meet other students, alongside chaplains. Come as you are; it won’t be the same without you and you don’t need any prior general knowledge!
