Adobe Creative Cloud
Goldsmiths is an Adobe Creative Campus, which means our students and staff can use Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and more for free on their own devices.

All Goldsmiths students and permanent staff can install the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, which includes the apps listed below. This software can be used for photography, video editing, animations, social media, and more.
As an Adobe Creative Campus, Goldsmiths actively focuses on teaching digital skills to help students succeed in the classroom and gain an edge in the competitive modern workplace.

How to install Creative Cloud
- Go to creativecloud.adobe.com/apps
- Enter your username in the format abcde001@campus.goldsmiths.ac.uk. You’ll then be directed to Goldsmiths sign-in
- If you previously had Creative Cloud, you may be prompted to migrate your data. If this is the case, please select ‘Yes’
- Navigate to either the ‘Desktop’ or 'Mobile' section at the top of the Creative Cloud page. Find the 'Creative Cloud' icon and follow the relevant installation instructions for your device
Once Creative Cloud has been installed, you can use the software to download and manage all of your Adobe apps.

Express
An all-in-one editor that allows you to easily combine graphics, enhanced video features, and animations. Work can also be collaborated on in real time, and integrations with Photoshop and Illustrator support skill-building and simplify workflows.
Photoshop
An image editing app that lets you transform photos, graphics, and illustrations. Edit and create with layers, brushes, AI tools, and more.
Illustrator
A graphic design app that allows you to create illustrations, logos, and more. Use precise tools to make vector artwork that can scale to any size.
Acrobat
A PDF editing app that lets you view and edit your documents, use e-signature tools, collaborate on reviews, and more.
InDesign
A page design and layout app that can be used to create and publish print and digital documents. Make posters, books, digital magazines, e-books, interactive PDFs, and more.
Lightroom
A photo editing app that allows you to enhance and organise your photos. Use and create presets, adjust colour and clarity, and more.
Premiere Pro
A video editing app that can be used to create film, broadcast, and social content. Assemble videos and add titles with a variety of creative and AI tools.
Premiere Rush
A video editing app that lets you quickly create social content with Premiere Pro tools. Edit, adjust colour and audio, use templates, and more.
After Effects
As the industry standard for motion graphics and visual effects, this software can be used to create sophisticated visuals for film, TV, social media, the web, and more.
Bridge
A creative asset manager that lets you preview, select, organise, edit and publish multiple creative assets quickly and easily.
Lightroom Classic
A photo editing app that allows you to enhance and organise your photos by adding presets, making adjustments, and batch-organising photos.

Substance 3D Designer
An app that allows you to design seamless 3D materials and patterns, image filters, environment lights, or 3D models with the total control of node-based authoring.
Substance 3D Stager
An app that lets you set up 3D assets, materials, lights, and cameras and export images, web and AR experiences, and more.
Dimension
An intuitive 3D scene design tool for prototyping, rendering photorealistic images, publishing interactive 3D content, and more.
Media Encoder
An app that lets you ingest, transcode, create proxies, and output to almost any format you can imagine.
