Articulation programme between Amity Universities and Goldsmiths: Management

The School of Creative Management at Goldsmiths, University of London is collaborating with Amity Universities in India to deliver an articulation programme for those interested in exploring study in different contexts internationally.

You will study one year at Amity Universities before completing your second and third year at Goldsmiths on either the BSc in Management with Economics or BSc in Management with Marketing course.

What you'll study

Following successful completition of Year 1 of the BBA, BBA International Business, BBA Finance and Accounting or BCom programme at Amity Universities (India), you’ll be eligible to apply for Year 2 entry into one of the following Goldsmiths programmes:

Teaching style 

This programme is taught through a mixture of lectures, tutorials, workshops and laboratory sessions. You’ll also be expected to undertake a significant amount of independent study. This includes carrying out required and additional reading, preparing topics for discussion, and producing essays or project work. 

How you'll be assessed 

You’ll be assessed by a variety of methods, depending on your module choices. These may include coursework, examinations, group work and projects. If you opt for an industrial placement year, your placement tutor will assess your work. If you complete the placement year successfully, you earn the endorsement 'with work experience' on your degree certificate. 

Credits and levels of learning 

An undergraduate honours degree at Goldsmiths is made up of 360 credits – 120 at Level 4, 120 at Level 5 and 120 at Level 6. If you are a full-time student, you will usually take Level 4 modules in the first year, Level 5 in the second, and Level 6 modules in your final year. 

A standard module is worth 30 credits. Some programmes also contain 15-credit half modules or can be made up of higher-value parts, such as a dissertation or a major project.

Skills

With this degree, you will get to the heart of how people make decisions, learn through the experiences of others, and investigate how organisations work at all levels, stages of development, and in relation to the external environment, including economic, environmental, ethical, legal, political, sociological and technological factors.

We teach you how these factors take effect at local, national and international levels upon the strategy, behaviour, management and sustainability of organisations. 

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this articulation programme, you will need to study one of the following programmes at Amity Universities (India): 

  • BBA 
  • BBA International Business 
  • BBA Finance and Accounting 
  • Bcom

Once you have completed the first year, you can apply for Year 2 entry into one of the following Goldsmiths programmes: 

To enter Year 2 at Goldsmiths, you need to successfully completed the first year at Amity University with attainment of 120 credits at Level 4 or equivalent and an average score of at least 65%.  

B. Com students 

If you are a B. Com student, you will also be required to complete the online version of the Goldsmiths module 'Introduction to Marketing' by end of Term 1. You will receive access to online materials and personal tutor help provided by Goldsmiths' School of Creative Management.

 

English language requirements

If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.0 with a 6.0 in writing and no element lower than 5.5 to study this programme. If you need assistance with your English language, we offer a range of courses that can help prepare you for degree-level study

Alternative Indian English Language Requirements for Level 6/Undergraduate entry include a 75% score in Standard 12th English (Scores valid for 5 years).

Annual tuition fees
