Explore the scholarships and bursaries open to students applying through Clearing, and existing offer holders.

We offer a range of scholarships, bursaries and fee waivers to Clearing applicants and offer holders, with applications opening in August each year.

Clearing Scholarship

The first 100 Clearing applicants to accept their offer from Goldsmiths after 1pm on 14 August 2025 (A-Level Results Day) will receive £1,800 to support their studies.

Clearing Accommodation Bursary

If you apply through Clearing and wish to stay in our accommodation, you can apply for our Clearing Accommodation Bursary. Successful applicants will receive a guaranteed place in our accommodation and a £1,800 accommodation bursary for their first year of study.

Access Programme Scholarship

If you are a home student who is currently enrolled on an Access to Higher Education course or has successfully completed an Access programme in the last academic year, you can apply for our Access Programme Scholarship. Successful applicants will receive £1,000 for each year of study on your undergraduate programme at Goldsmiths.

Goldsmiths Equity Awards

The Equity Awards provide a package of intentional support, designed to help to level the playing field for students of colour. If you meet the relevant eligibility criteria, you could receive £3,000 for each year of study on your undergraduate programme at Goldsmiths.

Lewisham Borough Fee Waiver

The Lewisham Fee Waiver is a full tuition fee waiver covering three years of an undergraduate degree. You must be a home student, with a household income of under £35,000 per year, and who has been a resident in the London Borough of Lewisham for three years prior to application.

Mature Student Scholarship

If you are over the age of 25 on the first day of your degree (taken as the first day of enrolment week) and are eligible for home fees, you can apply for our Mature Student Scholarship. Successful applicants will receive £3,000 for each year of study on your undergraduate programme.

Travel Bursaries

Home students with a household income of under £35,000 per year, who live in select London Boroughs, may be eligible for a travel bursary. This bursary covers the cost of an annual travelcard for travel from your home to Goldsmiths.

Care Experienced and Estranged Students Bursary

If you are a care-experienced or estranged student who meets select eligibility criteria, you could be eligible for our Care Experienced and Estranged Students Bursary. This provides £1,000 for each year of study.

Low Participation Neighbourhood Bursary

If you live in a postcode area with low participation in higher education according to POLAR4 (Quintile 1) criteria and have a household income of under £35,00 per year, you could be eligible for this bursary worth £500.

Disabled Students Bursaries

If you are a home student with recognised disability that has been disclosed on your UCAS application, you could be eligible for our Disabled Student Bursary. Successful applicants will receive £3000 for each year of study on your undergraduate programme at Goldsmiths.
