Articulation programme between Chandigarh University and Goldsmiths: Management

Goldsmiths' School of Creative Management is collaborating with Chandigarh University to deliver an articulation programme for those interested in exploring study in different contexts internationally.

You will study one year at Chandigarh University before completing your second and third year at Goldsmiths, University of London on on either the BSc in Management with Economics or BSc in Management with Marketing course.

What you'll study

Following successful completition of Year 1 of the BBA (Bachelors of Business Administration) or B.Com (Bachelors of Commerce) programme at Chandigarh University, you’ll be eligible to apply for Year 2 entry into one of the following Goldsmiths programmes:

Teaching style 

This programme is taught through a mixture of lectures, tutorials, workshops and laboratory sessions. You’ll also be expected to undertake a significant amount of independent study. This includes carrying out required and additional reading, preparing topics for discussion, and producing essays or project work. 

How you'll be assessed 

You’ll be assessed by a variety of methods, depending on your module choices. These may include coursework, examinations, group work and projects. If you opt for an industrial placement year, your placement tutor will assess your work. If you complete the placement year successfully, you earn the endorsement 'with work experience' on your degree certificate. 

Credits and levels of learning 

An undergraduate honours degree at Goldsmiths is made up of 360 credits – 120 at Level 4, 120 at Level 5 and 120 at Level 6. If you are a full-time student, you will usually take Level 4 modules in the first year, Level 5 in the second, and Level 6 modules in your final year. 

A standard module is worth 30 credits. Some programmes also contain 15 credit half modules or can be made up of higher-value parts, such as a dissertation or a major project.

Skills

With this degree, you will get to the heart of how people make decisions, learn through the experiences of others, and investigate how organisations work at all levels, stages of development, and in relation to the external environment, including economic, environmental, ethical, legal, political, sociological and technological factors.

We teach you how these factors take effect at local, national and international levels upon the strategy, behaviour, management and sustainability of organisations. 

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this articulation programme, you will need to study one of the following courses at Chandigarh University. To start the programme at Chandigarh University, students must initially have satisfied the university’s admission criteria.

  • BBA (Bachelors of Business Administration) 
  • B.Com (Bachelors of Commerce) 

Once accepted and having successfully completed Year 1 at Chandigarh University with attainment of 120 credits at Level 4 or equivalent and an average of at least 65% the first year of study, you will enter the two-year programme at Goldsmiths on one of the following courses:

English language requirements

If English isn’t your first language, you will need an IELTS score (or equivalent English language qualification) of 6.0 with a 6.0 in writing and no element lower than 5.5 to study this programme. If you need assistance with your English language, we offer a range of courses that can help prepare you for degree-level study

Alternative Indian English Language Requirements for Level 6/Undergraduate entry include a 75% score in Standard 12th English (Scores valid for 5 years).

Annual tuition fees
