How we check rooms and what we do if any issues are found.

Flat and study room inspections may be carried out periodically throughout the year.
Unclean rooms
If a flat/room is found to be unacceptable, the resident/s will be given 24 hours notice to clean it to a satisfactory standard. If this is not carried out, we will automatically request that the cleaning team clean your room and communal area without further notice.
Any additional charges made by the Hall provider are available on request.
Confiscated items
If we find any items that you shouldn’t have in halls, we will confiscate them, and disciplinary action may follow if necessary. Items can be reclaimed within 28 days of your contract ending.
